To view item details for eBooks and periodicals:

In the My Documents section of your library, navigate to the item for which you want to view
details.

Tap
Item details & options
. Your
NOOK
displays limited available details about the file, possibly
including the publisher, publication date, and file path.
To read something in My Documents:

Browse to the item you want to read.

Tap Select. The item opens in the Reader.

Read is also a choice if you are viewing item details. Navigate to the item, tap
Item details &
options
, and then tap
Read
.
Checking for New Personal Content
Your
NOOK
checks for new content to display in My Documents when you choose
Go to My
Documents
. Unlike checking for new content in My B&N Library, this does not require a wireless
connection.
If you are in the My Documents section of your library when you transfer files to your
NOOK
, or
otherwise manage files on your
NOOK
, there is no automatic check for new content when you
disconnect from USB. Manually request that your
NOOK
check for new content.
To check for new personal content:

On the Home menu, tap
my library
.

In the My Documents section of your library, tap
Check for new content
.
Deleting Personal Content
If you delete content from the My Documents section of your library, you cannot get
it back. If you might want the content again, back it up to a personal computer before
deleting it. For information about managing files on your
NOOK
through USB from a
computer, see “Managing Files” on page 164.
To delete an item from My Documents:

In the My Documents section of your library, navigate to the item that you want to delete.

Tap
Item Details & Options > Delete
