HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SETTINGS (295 AC)
RELIEF VALVES
The Relief Valve portion of the control valves in your Barko Loader limit the flow of hydraulic oil, which relieves the
excess pressure in the hydraulic system, if for any reason pressure is built up above a predetermined, safe, maximum.
CAUTION
The relief valve pressure setting has been arrived at by our engineers after considerable
sexperience with and testing of this loader. The setting will provide maximum safety and
efficiency of operation. DO NOT ALTER THIS RELIEF SETTING! Relief settings increased
beyond this setting could be dangerous to life, limb and property.
Altering the settings on a new machine will void the warranty.
The following is a list of pressure settings used on your Barko Loader. Any questions should be directed to the factory.

K170 UPPER VALVE SYSTEM (see also Hydraulic Pressure Adjustments):
Pump Compensator (working pressure) ......................................... 3600 PSI
Main Boom - up (butt end of main boom cylinder) ......................... 4000 PSI... at the Port Relief.
Main Boom - down (rod end of main boom cylinder) ...................... 1800 PSI... at the Port Relief.
Stick Boom - up (butt end of secondary boom cylinder) ................ 4000 PSI... at the Port Relief.
Stick Boom - down (rod end of secondary boom cylinder) ............. 4000 PSI... at the Port Relief.
Live Heel Boom - up (butt end of live heel boom cylinder) ............. 4000 PSI... at the Port Relief.
Live Heel Boom - down (rod end of live heel boom cylinder) .......... 1800 PSI... at the Port Relief.
Open/Close - ports A & B ............................................................. 2500 PSI... at the Feed Reducers.
Rotate - ports A & B...................................................................... 1500 PSI... at the Feed Reducers.
Main Relief (non-adjustable) .......................................................... 4000 PSI
Swing System (high pressure reliefs) ............................................ 3600 PSI... both right and left.
Pilot Pressure (pressure reducing valve) ........................................ 450 to 500 PSI
