4. Getting Started
Light Processor. The time needed to bring the projector from a
deconditioned
state into a
conditioned
state depends on the
ambient conditions and can take several minutes. This process is called
conditioning
.
Keep in mind that it can take up to 10 minutes to start the lasers again after they were switched off. If there
are only 30 to 45 minutes between the shows it’s advisable to keep the lasers on with shutter closed. When
the shutter is closed the lasers are automatically dimmed.
Start up procedure
1. Switch on the chiller(s). The status light of the chiller(s) should light up white. See documentation set of the chiller.
2. Press the
Power Switch
(reference 1, image 4-1) to switch the projector
ON
.
The projector starts up to standby mode. The
Power on/off
button will blink until standby mode is achieved (reference 1, im-
age 4-2). Once in standby mode, the Power on/off button will be lit WHITE, but the display will be off.

button on the remote control. The projector will continue to
operational mode. The
Power on/off
button will blink BLUE until the projector is ready (reference 2, image 4-2). In this process
the shutter will close and the
Shutter
button will be lit RED. The start up screen is displayed on the touch panel and when fully
started up, it changes to the overview screen.
Once the projector is ready & conditioned, the Power on/off button will be lit BLUE. Now the lasers are active and light can come
out of the projector. The shutter however remains closed. While the shutter is closed, the lasers will be set to minimum power.
