One of Barco’s foremost rental partners, Creative Technology,
installed a brand-new 19,2 square meter ILite 6 XP display on the
Opel booth.
Flanked on either side by two static walls of 11 square meters
each, which were made of movable metal squares that reflected
various colors, the ILite 6 XP display was used to mirror the
movement and colors of the metal displays as well as to display
bursts of rich, colorful PAL video content.
Says Georg Rössler, Managing Director of Creative Technology
Germany: “By offering our client Barco’s new ILite 6 XP, we were
able to deliver what was arguable one of the show’s most spec-
tacular LED displays at the Geneva Car Show.”
Incorporating new measurement methodology, which enables
calibration down to LED level and new driver hardware that
offers 14-bit processing as well as new software algorithms that
deliver vastly improved color depth and saturation, the ILite 6 XP
offered Opel magnificent images to back the launch of their
latest models.
