8.3 Air fi lters replacement

Extreme care must be taken to avoid dust intrusion in or dust infection of the projector.

The air fi lters must always be present and mounted in a correct way!
Description
Two air fi lters are used to prevent dust from entering the projector. These air fi lters must be checked and replaced on a regular
basis , depending on the environment conditions of the projector.
A good practice in a clean environment is to check/replace both air fi lters on each lamp replacement . In dusty conditions, the air
fi lters must be checked at least once a month .
The two different air fi lters used in this projector are:
• x–cube air fi lter;
• electronics air fi lter.

Necessary tools
Torx screwdriver T10
How to remove the air fi lters?
1. Loosen the screws fi xing the fi lter cover
2. Remove the fi lter cover
