Alignment of the Illumination path
1. Turn on the projector and displays a white test pattern (See manual).
2. Adjust the folding mirror until the DMD is illuminated by the light spot symmetrically. (image 11-7)
3. Rotate the rod until dark borders are visible in the corners of the image. (image 11-8)
4. Adjust the horizontal position of the rod, by turning the ring (D), for sharp outline at the dark borders.
5. Rotate the rod back to its nominal position.
6. Adjust the light spot size lens (B) until the light spot on the DMD is slightly larger than the DMD size. (image 11-9)
7. Repeat the adjustment of the border sharpness, step 3 to 5 in this procedure.
8. Finally, secure the position of the controls by tightening and fixing with appropriate glue the respective screws (A), (B) and (C).
