INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

MD (1.7-3:1) lenses

I. Mounting

- remove the currently mounted lens by turning-counter clockwise.  Note : be very carefull not to drop the lens.

- take the MD(1.7-3:1) zoom lens out of its packing material.

- turn the lens completely into the lens holder (clockwise).  The lens will automatically be secured in the lens holder.

II. Operation

- tables, formulas and diagrams to calculate the projection distance range or screen width range are given on

next pages (for 3000 and 3100 series).

- focus the lens by rotating the front lens barrel until the image is clearly focus.  Secure the focus position of the

lens with both securing screws.

- adjust the zoom with the zoom adjustment ring until the desired screen width is obtained.  Secure the zoom

position with the securing screw.

- when the projector is not in use, it is recommended to put the lens cap on the lens.
