3.5 Using the MiPIX prime-cable extension kit
How to use the MiPIX prime-cable extension kit ?
1. Fasten the transmitter unit nearby, within a radius of 20 cm, the output ports of the MiPIX control unit. (image 3-12)
Tip:
The housing of the MiPIX control unit is equipped with mounting holes for the transmitter unit. If you use those mounting
holes, use M3 x 6 bolts to fasten the transmitter unit. Using bolts longer than 6 mm will damage internal parts of the
control unit.
2. Mount the receiver unit nearby, within a radius of 20 cm, the pixel block which has to receive the data.
Note:
The maximum distance between the transmitter unit and the receiver unit is 10 meter.
3. Connect the prime-cable coming from the output port of the controller unit with the transmitter unit.
4. Connect the output of the receiver unit with the input of the pixel block, using an inter-block cable.
5. Place a MDR data cable between the transmitter unit and the receiver unit. (image 3-13)
