Transfer function
About transfer function
There are different transfer function possibilities:
•
Native: the transfer function is transparent (no correction is applied).
•
DICOM (Factory): The output curve follows the DICOM curve and an offset can be applied to the curve
(see "User setting (DICOM)", page 23).
•
DICOM (User): The output curve follows the DICOM curve and an offset can be applied to the curve
(see "User setting (DICOM)", page 23).
The user curves are pre-setted in the factory or downloaded from User.
•
COLOR (Factory): The monitor output is corrected according to the color temperature pre-setted in
the factory. This setting can be set from 2000°K to 12000°K in steps of 100°K) (see "User setting
(COLOR)", page 23).
•
COLOR (User): The monitor output is corrected according to the color temperature selected by the
user. This setting can be set from 2000°K to 12000°K in steps of 100°K) (see "User setting (COLOR)",
page 23).
Monitor calibration is pre-setted in the factory but can be downloaded from User.

User LUT: The monitor output is corrected according to a prede
fi
ned user LUT.
The user curves are pre-setted in the factory or downloaded from User.
•
RGB Set (User): The monitor output is corrected according to the Red, Green and Blue color values
adjusted by the end user (from 0 to 1785 in steps of 1) (see "User setting (RGB SET)", page 24).
In this menu, COLOR is replaced with the current color temperature (e.g. 6500°K (FAC-
TORY))
