Hardware Description

The figure below illustrates a rear view of the FSN Series chassis, with all slots fully loaded
with both required and optional I/O cards:

In the descriptions below, slots are numbered from left to right:
1)
Air Vents
At the top of the chassis,
Air Vents
are provided to assist with cooling. Air flows
from the front of the chassis to the rear. To prevent overheating, do not block the
air vents.
2) Input Card I/O
Slots 1 through 7 are reserved for two types of input I/O cards:

I/O Cards. Up to four I/O cards can be installed in slots 1 through 4.
