If necessary, repeat all the procedure at other playback frame rates.
7.5.3.5 Auto switch delay time adjustment
Auto switch delay time
When playing a 3D contents, the ICMP and ICP-D can automatically detect the frame rate of the played
content and configure the frame rate multiplicator accordingly.
That feature simplifies the show creation by allowing the exhibitor to use a single macro whatever the frame
rate of the content (additional macro to handle the content
’
s aspect ratio differences are still needed).
This Auto adjustment can be activated by using the
name
_auto.3D in the Macro.
When this file is activated, the ICMP or ICP-D will check the frame rate played and will activate 3d settings
such as
Dark time adjustment
and
Output reference delay
contained in the other files such as
name
_24.3D.
The selection of the file used will be based on the following table:
Frame Rate played (fps/eye)

configuration (

For 3D application, the system need typically a period of time to be synchronized with the playout. An
additional parameter then available in web communicator in order to adjust that period of time; the
Auto switch
delay time
adjustment. That setting will then delay the playout, by the amount of
ms
configured, if a change in
the frame rate is detected between the previous and the next clip to be played.
How to adjust auto switch delay time
1.
While in 3D file editor, check if
Disable 3D
option (reference 1) is unchecked in order to acceded the
settings.
