7.2.2 Main Battery Charge
The main Battery is a high capacity battery chemistry in Lithium-ions. The high density
of charge allows the machine to perform a professional work for 4 hours. The battery
does not have memory effect so it is recommended to charge it any time before to start
a new work.
How to charge the battery.
a) Select a space sheltered from the sun and bad weather that assure the stability of
the temperature, that is not humid and sufficiently ventilated for charging.
b) Turn the battery switch (A) in OFF position;
c) Disconnect the mower poles from the battery and the COMM cable (B, C and D).
To disconnect the poles press the lock button of the plugs (located underneath the
cable head) and unscrew the collar of the communication plug (D).
d) Connect the power plugs (B

) and the communication plug (D

) of the
Charger (E).
ATTENTION:
Do not exchange the polarity marked by plug and socket color
e) Switch the Battery ON (Switch A)
f ) Connect the charger power supply (F) to the net. After few
seconds the LED "Charging" will start to blink. The charging
will follows a given cycle which take about 5 hours. The Battery
Management System (BMS) will control the charging cycle.
The balancicng of the battery cells are automatically performed
assuring the best battery performance. The charger switch
automatically OFF when the cycle is completed.
Note: The charge will not start if the communication cable is not
connected or if the battery switch is OFF.
