Repeatability and Accuracy

Accurate repeatability is the goal 

with the 

ESATTO

TM

. With all grind-

ers, the output in grams/second 

varies with the grind coarseness. 

At finer settings (i.e Espresso) the 

Preciso

TM

 (for example) will produce 

about 1.6 g/sec and at French 

Press it will produce 2.5 g/sec. The 

beauty of real-time weight-based 

grinding is that using a scale elimi-

nates almost all of this variability.

Care and Cleaning

If the weight display does not 

count up properly when grinding 

coffee, remove the grounds bin 

and blow air under the weigh-

ing platform to clear any coffee 

grounds from the narrow gap 

under the platform.  DO NOT use 

any type of tool under the weigh-

ing platform.

The narrow gap under the 

weighing platform MUST be 

free of ground coffee.
