The receive frequency is the only thing you can enter directly without using the MENU structure.  Below are the MENU choices.
Using the menu is relatively straight forward after you have used it a while: <MENU>Choice<MENU>setting<MENU>
The arrow keys allows you to set receive frequency and scrol through menu choices and setting choices
