Symptoms
The display shows a flashing ..
The ringer does not work.
Redialing does not work.
Caller ID and other special functi-
ons do not work.
Possible cause
The batteries are low.
The ringer is switched off.
• The prefix is not stored
(switchboard).
• A pause between 1st and 2nd
part of the phone number has
not been stored.
• You have not subscribed to the
Caller ID service.
• The batteries have not been
inserted, have been incorrectly
inserted, or are dead.
Correction
Insert new batteries.
Switch the ringer on.
• See SWITCHBOARD.
• See USING THE PAUSE BUTTON.
• Contact your telephone company
to subscribe.
• Check that the batteries have
been correctly inserted and are
not dead.
