Introduction 

 

This chapter contains important safety regulations for working with and on the boot 
elevator type “David 2”. Anyone working with or on the boot elevator type “David 2” 
should read through this chapter carefully in advance.

Use according to intended use 

The boot elevator type “David 2” may only be handled and used according to the 
described purpose of use. Other or further use is not considered to be in accordance 
with the intended use. B&S  - Hoorn cannot be held liable for damages resulting from 
use the elevator was not intended for. 
The boot elevator type “David 2” is built according to the latest technology and meets 
the legal safety regulations. Nevertheless, from use of the boot elevator type “David 
2” danger or injury to the user or others, or damage to the boot elevator type “David 
2” or other goods can arise. Only use the boot elevator type “David 2” in a technically 
correct condition in accordance with the described intended use, while complying 
with the user manual.  
Alterations made to the boot elevator type “David 2” by a non-qualified person 
terminate all liability by B & S – Hoorn.
