4.3 RAID configuration
Note:
When creating a RAID volume, existing data on the storage media is deleted.
Before creating a RAID volume, make sure that there is no important data on the storage media.
In order to create a SATA RAID volume and access the "Configuration utility", setting
SATA mode selection
in
BIOS menu "SATA and RST configuration" (see
"PCH-IO configuration" on page 162
) must be set to
Intel RST
premium with Intel Optane
.
