3 System overview

3.1 Information about this user's manual

This user's manual contains all necessary information about the SDL4/DVI Converter.

For information about B&R industrial PCs, see the respective user's manuals.

Information:

All specifications in dimension diagrams and associated tables are in millimeters [mm].

3.2 SDL4/DVI Converter for Automation PCs

The SDL4/DVI Converter makes operation via SDL4 with Automation PCs

possible for monitors and panels that are only equipped with a DVI inter-

face. This makes it easy to upgrade systems to SDL4 as part of retrofit

measures and conversions.
