Cable lengths and resolutions for SDL3 transfer:
The maximum cable length for SDL3 transfers is 100 m with a B&R SDL3/SDL4 cable (regardless of
the panel resolution).

Information:
Hot plugging display devices on the SDL3 In interface for service purposes is supported by the hard-
ware and graphics drivers of approved operating systems. The female RJ45 connector is specified for
500 mating cycles.
Information:
If a display device with touch screen is connected to the SDL3 In interface and then disconnected again
during operation (hot plugging), it may be necessary to recalibrate the touch screen.
4.1.5.2.5 USB interfaces
The link module is equipped with a USB 2.0 (Universal Serial Bus) host controller with several USB ports, of which
2 USB interfaces are routed externally and freely available to the user.
Warning!
USB peripheral devices can be connected to the USB interfaces. Due to the variety of USB devices
available on the market, B&R cannot guarantee their functionality. The functionality of USB devices
available from B&R is ensured.
Caution!
Due to the general PC specification, this interface must be handled with the utmost care with regard
to EMC, cable routing, etc.
