In addition to the ‘every 2 years’ requirements it is recommended that Fog
Cartridges are replaced every 4 years from the time they are first installed. Simply
order replacement Cartridges of the same size volume (m
3
) from Bandit UK
Limited.
•
Prior to replacing the existing cartridges, take the opportunity to ‘Activate’ the
BANDIT 320
by pressing the ‘Force Ejection’ button on the Controller, which will
then initiate a full fog ejection test.
•
Dispose of the empty cartridge(s) in ordinary metal recycling waste.
•
The customer is charged the standard refill cost of the car time on site.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
As with any piece of specialist equipment, regular servicing is important to maintain
peak effectiveness of the product and to also maintain the 5 YEAR WARANTY and
EFFICACY cover on the product.
In order to comply with the European regulation relating to security fogging systems
(EN50131-8) - (quote):
“Testing and preventative maintenance should be undertaken
according to manufacturer's instructions”.
The BANDIT security fogging units should therefore be maintained as per these
recommended service requirements.
Furthermore, it is a requirement of major Insurance Companies that in order for their
loss cover to apply, system checks must be conducted and recorded in accordance to
the suppliers recommended service guidelines. Failure to do so may invalidate
insurance cover in the event of a claim resulting from a failed activation of the fogging
system.
