PRIMELINE SPRAYER
User Manual
BEFORE USE
INSPECT
• Inspect the hose, tank gasket, discharge valves, and nozzle for signs of
wear or damage. These parts must be in full working condition to permit
tank pressurization.
FILL
• Mix all insecticides according to label directions.
•
Unless otherwise specified by the label, when mixing insecticides in the
tank, first add approximately half of the water, then the chemical, followed
by the remainder of the water required.
• Note measurement marks on the side of the tank and mix accordingly.
•
Replace the pump and tank cap assembly, be sure the tank gasket fits
properly; tighten the cap until snug (do not over tighten).
CHOOSE TIP
The B&G Primeline Sprayer has many nozzle options, depending upon the type
of valve selected. Refer to the User Guide Addendum for your valve to learn
more about changing and choosing tips.
PRESSURIZE
• While some models come with a pressure gauge and pressure regulator
fitted to the valve, others do not. They are available as optional
accessories: pressure gauge (#22071635/1608003889) and pressure
regulator (#22070460/1208001271).
• Disengage the handle from locked position by pressing down and turning
1/4 turn to the left.
• Pump plunger up and down until desired pressure for application is
achieved (approximately 20-30 pumps depending on the tank capacity, fill
level, and pump assembly size), then engage handle in the locked position.
OPERATION
1. Aim the wand/nozzle at the area to be treated.
2. Squeeze the valve grip, liquid will exit in the pattern associated with the tip
selected earlier.

The flow rates of water at 20 psi / 1.38 bar are provided for the various tips
in the User Manual Addendum, the most common are listed here. Always
calibrate for the formulation you are using.
