SUPPLY LINE
The basic diagram of the gas supply line is shown in the figure
below.
A manual shut off valve and an anti-vibration joint must be ins -
talled upstream of the gas valve, as shown in the diagram.
If the gas train is equipped with a pressure regulation device not
integrated in a monoblock valve, follow the instructions below to
install the accessories on the gas pipe near the burner:
• To avoid high pressure drops upon ignition, there should be a
1.5/2 m long pipe section between the pressure reducer or sta -
biliser installation point and the burner. This pipe must have a
diameter equal to or greater than the connector to the burner.
To ensure optimal operation of the pressure regulator, it should be
applied to the horizontal pipe after the filter.
The gas pressure regulator must be adjusted when it is working at
the maximum output actually used by the burner.
The delivery pressure must be adjusted to a level slightly below
the maximum obtainable.
BURNER CONNECTION TO THE BOILER
ASSEMBLING THE HEAD UNIT
• Position insulating seal -13 on the sleeve, placing rope -2
between the flange and the seal.
• Adjust the connection flange -19 position loosening the screws
-6. The burner head must penetrate to the extent requested by
the generator manufacturer.
• Fasten the burner to the boiler -1 with the stud bolts, washers
and nuts provided -7.
DANGER / CAUTION
Completely seal the gap between the burner sleeve and
the hole in the refractory material inside the boiler door with
suitable material.
