Several luminaires and luminaire groups can be controlled within a
CASAMBI
®
network. The network can be equipped with a light sensor
system as well as motion and presence sensors.
The lighting situation is dynamically adjusted to the current light condi-
tions depending on the daylight brightness.
If a presence sensor is used, the luminaires are switched off automatical-
ly if there are no more people in the room.
Additional energy can be saved with the sensor system because light is
only produced when it is actually needed.
A differentiation is made for the controls between battery and mains-
operated as well as stand-alone, battery-free controls.
The stand-alone controls generate energy through a mechanical pres-
sure pulse and thus require no batteries.
Battery-operated controls, on the other hand, have a larger range.
