ACK NAK
Timeout Value This option specifies the amount of time the reader waits for an ACK character from the host fol-
lowing label transmission. The selectable timeout range is 200 milliseconds to 15,000ms (15 sec-
onds) in 200ms increments. A selection of 0 disables the timeout.
See page 242 for more information on setting this feature.
ACK NAK Retry
Count This feature specifies the number of times the reader retries a label transmission due to a retry
condition. The selectable range is from 1 to 254 retries. A selection of 0 disables the count, and a
selection of 255 specifies unlimited retries. See
page 243 for more information.

To configure this feature, scan the ENTER/
EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode
above, then the barcode at left followed by
the digits from the Alphanumeric characters
in
Appendix D: Keypad representing your
desired character(s). End by reading the
ENTER/EXIT barcode again.
Make a mistake? Scan the CANCEL barcode
to abort and not save the entry string. You
can then start again at the beginning.
