6.6 Diagnostic data
The BMF 415KW-HAKKI-… reports diagnostic data
(events) to the controlling system (see Tab. 6-18) or the
controlling system can read out the status using the
diagnostics parameters.
6.6.1 Diagnostic parameters

6.6.2 Event list
Event code Expression Meaning
0x4210 Warning DEVICE TEMPERATURE OVERRUN (see section 6.5.6 Threshold values for the temperature
warning on page 16) – The set upper temperature threshold has been exceeded.
0x4220 Warning DEVICE TEMPERATURE UNDER-RUN (section 6.5.6 Threshold values for the temperature
warning on page 16) – The set lower temperature threshold has been exceeded.
0x4000 Error TEMPERATURE FAULT- OVERLOAD – The temperature has exceeded the specified
maximum temperature. The heat source must be removed.
0x5000 Error HARDWARE FAULT – There is a problem with the device hardware. Possible causes:
– Internal communication problem with the frontend
– Internal communication problem with the EEPROM
It may be that excessive electromagnetic interference is interrupting sensor-internal bus
communication. Communication resumes as soon as the interference is gone. If this is not the
case, the BMF 415KW-HAKKI-… must be replaced.
