DANGER
Explosions
Connecting the BTL in an explosion hazard atmosphere
could result in explosions. This could result in personal
injury and equipment damage.
►
Connect only in non-EX zone areas or in a suitable
enclosure.
To ensure the corresponding safety, the operator must
observe the following when assembling and disassembling
the connection housing:
– Any dirt or contamination which could lead to short
circuits between contacts must be removed prior to
installation and startup.
– The installed components must not show any evidence
of damage.
– The quality and security of the plug connection must
be properly implemented.
– The BTL gasket must not be damaged.
– The mounting screws must be secured with an
appropriate thread locking varnish.
Recommendations:
– Record proper assembly or disassembly according to
the user's guide.
– Use a new gasket and new screws each time the
device is reinstalled.
– The protective cap that comes installed is intended to
protect from contamination. Keep the protective cap
for later disassembly.

Installation
Components
The following components are required for installing the
connection housing:
– Screwdriver
– Allen head torque wrench

determined by a pressed-in pin and the
corresponding bore hole on the BTL.
When fitting the BTL and the connection
housing the leads must be free in the
housing and must not be pinched!
7.
Immediately tighten the screws with washers
sufficiently to hold them in place.
8.
Then tighten down to 5 Nm.
4.2
Disassembly
Components

Disassembly sequence
1.
Loosen screws on connection housing.
2.
Carefully remove protection housing from BTL.
