5.2.1 Online display of the LED
The LED indicates the operating states of the sensor head/
sensor module.
LED Connection information
Green
Normal function (no errors, the BML
reads the magnetic tape)
Red
An error has occurred (e.g. no tape
detected), see error description in the
user’s guide for the sensor head/sensor
module.

5.2.2 BML information
The following sensor head/sensor module information is
displayed:
– Type code
– Order code
– Serial number
– BML parameter state: ORIGINAL (factory default) or
MODIFIED
– Firmware Version (only for BML-S1G and BML SL1)
– BML operating time (only for BML-S1G)
5.2.3 Connection information

Sensor head/sensor module is not

5.2.4 Tabs
Settings are made on the tabs.
System Parameters : Sets the main sensor head/sensor
module parameters and online display of the configuration.
Position: Reads and displays position data, errors and
other output-relevant data.
The type-specific elements of the tabs are described in
chapters 6, 7 and 8.
