EMERGENCY LEVER FOR LOOSENING DRIVE BELTS
The machine is equipped with an
emergency lever
(A) for loosening the drive belts to be used in the
event that oversized material or, by mistake, material other than wood (such as pieces of iron, etc.) is
fed in.
In this case, it is sufficient to act on the lever, pushing it downwards, to loosen the belts and
considerably lower the rotor speed, preventing serious breakage of the shredding system.
To re-couple the belts, it is necessary to open the crankcase (B) located on the machine frame, insert
the lever (C) into the designated hole and move the lever forward.
