➊
POWER SWITCH
The POWER SWITCH turns on or off the product.
*Remarks:
The recharging process only starts when the power
switch is at off position. You may leave the recharger connected
at all times, as the DAC-21 automatically cuts off its recharging
power during operation / play, in order to prevent and minimize
any possible noise from the recharger.
➋
SELECT
With this simple SELECT toggle switch, you can choose between
either USB or COAXIAL digital inputs.
➌
LED DISPLAY
The LED DISPLAY turns on when the product is switched on. There
are a total of 6 LEDs.
The upper row represents the sampling rate type and the bottom
row lights up when high-resolution signals are being processed.
For example, when PCM 48 and X 4 light up, the incoming signal
is PCM 192 kHz. The bottom LED lights up in the color red when the
batteries are recharging and turns off if they are fully recharged.
The three LED represents the three individual batteries inside
the unit.
*Remarks:
The LED(s) will start to blink when the batteries are
low in capacity. The unit will automatically turn itself off after
about 15 minutes when the blinking starts.
*Remarks:
The DAC-21’s charging circuit automatically calculates
and determines the internal batteries’ optimal charging status
and operation. As the capacity and condition vary amongst the
batteries, it is completely possible that some batteries can be
charged earlier or later.
