4.2 Mechanical
WARNING!
Before opening the pressure vessel, it must
be completely de-pressurized! This warning
applies to all three interfaces described in
this section (flange interface, transmitter
connection and sensor ports). The
appropriate procedure should be followed to
properly relieve any pressure build up in the
system prior to servicing the equipment.
WARNING!
All equipment must be de-energized prior to
servicing.
Attention! Only trained and qualified personnel should
service the pressure vessel.

4.2.1 Servicing the pipe flange interface
WARNING!
Before opening the pressure vessel, it must
be completely de-pressurized!
Only properly trained personnel, such as pipe fitters, should
service the pipe flanges. The proper gasket material, bolts,
bolt torque, and tightening sequence must always be used.
