9.5.9 File Management

The FILE MANAGEMENT menu is used to copy or deleted HART® configuration files.

When copying to or from a USB flash memory device, ensure that the USB flash memory

device is connected prior to selecting the menu option.

9.6 HART® Online

HART® devices can also be connected to the DPI

620 Genii in HART® ONLINE mode which

allows detailed configuration. To set up a device connection ONLINE, select the HART® ONLINE

button. This launches a Device Poll search based on the Poll Scheme selected in the

HART® menu (OFFLINE mode). Once the device has been found, tap on the device details and

press OK to complete the connection and launch the SDC Application.

9.6.1 HART® SDC Application

Once the device has been connected in HART® ONLINE mode, the HART® SDC application is

automatically launched. See Section
