NOTE : Maintenance should be performed more frequently when generator is used in dusty areas.
When generator has exceeded the maximum figures specified in the table, maintenance should still be cycled according
to the intervals of time or hours stated herein.
STORAGE
When preparing the generator for storage, allow the unit to cool for 30 minutes then follow the guidelines below.
STORAGE TIME PRIOR TO STORING
Less than 2 months

Remove the 1 lb. propane cylinder or fully close the 20 lb. propane cylinder valve, then discon-
nect the propane hose adaptor.
2 months to 1 year  Remove the 1 lb. propane cylinder or fully close the 20 lb. propane cylinder valve, then discon-
nect the propane hose adaptor.
1 year or more

Remove the 1 lb. propane cylinder or fully close the 20 lb. propane cylinder valve, then discon-
nect the propane hose adapter.

Remove spark plug.
 Put a tablespoon of engine lubricant into the spark plug cylinder. Turn the engine slowly with the
pull rope to distribute the lubricant.


Reinstall spark plug.
 Change engine lubricant.
WARNING: Propane cylinders must be stored outdoors out of reach of children and must not be stored in a
building, garage, or any other closed-in area.
