ENGINE SPEED GOVERNOR
The ATV governor is set by the factory to limit speed of ATV to 15mph
(24km/h) directly out of crate. The governor can be adjusted to allow the
ATV to travel up to 30mph (48km/h). Any adjustment to governor should be
performed by a responsible adult. Changing top speed of ATV should match
riders ability.
The engine speed governor is part of the CDI (A) located under the gas tank
of the ATV. The governor should only be adjusted by a responsible adult or
qualified service technician working under the direction of the adult owner.
Adjusting Speed Governor to increase or decrease speed.
1. Remove CDI Governor box (A) located under seat by sliding out
of rubber CDI mount (B).
2. Unplug the 2 electrical plugs (C) and remove CDI governor box (A) from
ATV.
