OPERATION
This notcher uses replaceable hole-saws to produce quality notches in various materials at
almost unlimited angles.
1. Before notching can take place, the correct hole-saw must be selected to match the material
being notched.
Note: Only heavy duty hole saws can be used. The hole-saws with solid backing
plates are best. The stamped and formed hole-saws are not rigid enough for this machine. The
hole-saws simply screw onto the arbor.
2. Loosen the vise lock lever and rotate to the desired notch angle and re-tighten.
3. Select the material and insert it into the vise.
Leave the minimum required material hanging
beyond the vise.
CAUTION:
Always wear proper eye protection with side shields, safety
footwear, and leather gloves to protect from burrs and sharp edges.
When handling large heavy materials make sure they are properly supported.
