DESCRIPTION
Device overview

Clamp. Used to enclose the wire.
(Observe the direction of current flow).

Rotary switch. Used to select measurement
functions.
③
Keypad. Measurement function keys.
④
LCD display. Shows measurement results
and various symbols.

Terminal for the red test lead for voltage,
resistance, capacitance, frequency,
temperature, diode test and continuity
measurements.
⑥
COM. Terminal for the black test lead as a
common reference point.
⑦
Clamp opening actuator.
LCD Display
The LCD screen is shown in Figure 2-2 and the meaning of each symbol is
described in Table 1:

1 Indicates negative readings.
2 AUTO
The device is in autorange mode, in which the device
automatically selects the range with the best resolution.

AC
Indicates AC voltage or current.

DC
Indicates DC voltage or current.
5 Low battery indication.
6 H The device is in Data Hold mode.
7 REL The device is in Relative Measurement mode.
8 MAX Display maximum data.
9 MIN Display minimum data.
10 The device is in Continuity Check mode.
11 The device is in Diode Test mode.
