CONTROLS
7.1
Ignition Switch:
Bad Boy mowers have a three-position ignition switch: off, run, and start. With key
inserted, rotate it clockwise to START position and release key when engine starts, and switch will
automatically return to the RUN position.
7.2
Throttle Control:
A cable is connected to the engine throttle for controlling engine speed. Move lever
forward to increase engine rpm, move lever backward to decrease engine rpm.
7.3
Pre-Heat Button:
This mower is equipped with a glow plug pre-heater. To activate turn ignition to the
ON position and hold button for five seconds before starting the engine.
7.4
MIL:
EFI machines contain a malfunction indicator light located in place of the choke control knob. This
light indicates a malfunction in the electronic fuel injection system and requires
immediate
dealer
service.
7.5
Control Levers:
These levers control the mower’s speed, direction, and neutral lock. These levers are
used to steer, accelerate, decelerate and change direction.
7.6
Blade Engage Switch:
This switch engages the blades. Pull the switch up to engage the blades and
push the switch down to disengage the blades.
7.7
Parking Brake:
This lever engages the parking brake. Pull back fully to engage the parking brake;
push forward to disengage.
7.8
USB Charging Port:
Your mower
is equipped with a USB charging
port for your accessory needs.
7.9
Deck Height Control:
The deck
height dial is used to set the cut of the
deck.
7.10
Deck Travel Lock:
The deck travel
lock holds the deck in a transport
position.
