This section gives a brief description of the
Controller buttons. See the following sections 
for further details.

MODE

 button – Quick presses of the 

MODE

 button turn the controller on or off. 

Longer presses of the 

MODE

 button put the 

Controller in programming mode.

SET

 button - Press the 

SET

 button to set

a function and proceed.

 Use these buttons to increase and

decrease schedule functions, or

select / deselect functions.

Installing connectors wires

1.  Strip wire 1/2”. 
2.  Align frayed strands or conductors.
3.  Do not pre-twist. Place stripped wires
     together with ends even, lead stranded
     wire slightly.
4.  Twist connector onto wires pushing
     firmly until hand-tight. DO NOT torque.
5.  Swipe excess sealant in and around
     conductors. DO NOT REUSE.

 Installing the Connectors

NOTE: Can only open one valve at a time.
The valves are indicated as P1 and P2.

If the controller is correctly wired, continue 

the installation process as follows:

Basic Controller Functions

Install the valve in the irrigation system 
so that the black arrow on the valve is
pointing in the direction of the water 
flow. The controller may be swiveled
around to faciliate installation.

Occasionally the valve opens in transit. To
ensure that the valve is closed before you
open the main faucet, first make sure that
the controller is not set to 

OFF

 (If it is set to 

OFF

, press briefly on the MODE button to 

turn on).

3.  Press       and 

SET 

simultaneously.

     P1 will flash.
4.  Press

 to select P1 or       to

5.  Press

 and       to close the

     valve.

You are now ready to program the 

controller.

6.  Turn on the main faucet.

To manually open the valve, make sure that
the controller is in operating mode and press

simultaneously.

P1 will flash. Press

 to select P1 or       

to select  P2 and then 

SET.

  

Manual Function

The irrigation will continue until the interval
defined has passed. If the irrigation duration
has been set to zero, the valve will close
after one minute.
To stop irrigating, press       and 

SET

simultaneously.

Setting the Clock

If screen is blank, press 

MODE

 to activate.  

Before programming the controller you 
must set the clock.

1.   Press 

MODE

 for several seconds until the

      time adjustment icon appears. (The
      minutes will be flashing):  

On this screen the numbers represent the
current time.
2.  Use the      and the       buttons to adjust
     the minutes.
3.  Press 

SET 

to continue.

4.  Use the      and the        buttons to
     adjust  the hours.
5.  Press 

SET

 to continue.

6.  Use the         and the        buttons to select
     the current days of the week. The selected
     day will flash. 
7.  Press 

SET

 

to return to operating mode.

After setting the clock,
1.  Two long presses on the 

MODE

      makes the following screen appear:

On this screen, the clock numbers refer to
the time you wish irrigation to begin. There
are three start times which are the same for
both valves (P1 & P2).

4.  Use the       and the        buttons to adjust
     the hours.
5.  Press

 to return to start time 2, and

     repeat steps 1-3 for start times 2 and 3.

The irrigation program must be set separately 
for 

P1 & P2. 

The start times are common for both 

P1 & P2.

 

Each 

P1 & P2

 may be set with different

different days of operation.

Follow the instructions for Setting the 
Irrigation Program (section 10).

Example

If you wish to irrigate with period 1 (P1) on 
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 
06:00 in the morning for 15 minutes:
Make sure the clock is set, and you are in 
operating mode. Then press MODE twice to 
get to the Start Times. Set Start 1 to 6:00 
(factory default). Press MODE three times to 
set duration time. On the following screen, 
select Start 1, and deselect Starts 2 and 3. 
On the following screen select days 1, 3, 5
and 7. At the same time, you may program 
period 2 (P2) to irrigate for 30 minutes at 
13:00 on Monday and Thursdays. Start time 
are the same for both valves, but Start 2 is 
not in use for P1 in this example, so you 
may program Start 2 to the desired time of 
13:00. 

Press

 twice to get to the Start Times. 

Press 

SET

 until Start 2 is selected, and 

adjust time to 13:00. Press

 four times 

to set the duration time for P2. On the 
following screen, deselect Start 1, select 
Start 2 and deselect Start 3. On the next 
screen, select days 2 and 4.

It is possible to make a seasonal 
adjustment to the irrigation duration for 
both valves as necessary. The minimum 
adjustment is 10% of the programmed 
duration, and the maximum is 200%.
