•  Epilation is easier and more comfortable when the hair is at the optimum length of

2mm to 5mm. If hair is longer than 1cm, either trim with scissors before use or shave first

and then epilate the shorter re-growing hairs after 1 or 2 weeks.

•   When epilating for the first time it is advisable to epilate in the evening, so that any

possible redness can disappear overnight. To relax the skin, apply a cooling moisturizer

after epilation.

•  Fine hair which re-grows might not grow up to the skin surface. Regular exfoliation can

help prevent in-grown hairs (see Preparation of the Skin for more info).

•  Always work with both hands: carefully stretch the skin and hold the skin taut while

moving the appliance with the other. Holding the skin taut will help to avoid pinching.

•  Move the epilator against the direction of hair growth. Do not use circular movements.

•  Hair can grow in different directions, so it may be helpful to guide the appliance in

different directions to achieve optimum results.

•  Hold the appliance at a 90 degree angle to the surface of the skin of where hair is to

be removed.

•  Do not apply pressure. If too much pressure is applied the appliance may slow down.

•  Always keep both massage rollers in contact with the skin to help soothe the skin while

epilating.

Epilation of your legs

•  Turn the appliance on by pressing the ON/OFF switch once for speed I or twice for speed II.

•  Hold the appliance at a 90 degree angle (see Fig. 1).

•  Always work with both hands: carefully stretch the skin and hold the skin taut while

moving the appliance with the other (see Fig.2). Move the epilator against the direction

of hair growth. Do not use circular movements (see Fig.3).

•  Slowly move the epilator, while pressing down lightly. Careful not to press the appliance

down too hard against your skin; it might slow down the appliance and be less effective.

•  Epilate the legs from the lower leg in an upward direction. When epilating behind the

knee, keep the leg stretched out straight.

•  Apply a cooling moisturizer to legs after epilation.
