Tips:
- For ease of use, the device is multi-directional. You may make circular or straight
movements with the device on the face and neck (Fig. 9).
- If you want to go from a generous beard to a beard with a height of only a few tenths of a
millimetre, we recommend trimming it in several stages. For example: to go from a beard
10 mm in height to a beard 0.8 mm in height, first trim it at a height of 6 mm. Then, having
completed the first stage, perform a second trim at 0.8 mm (Fig. 10).
MEMORY FUNCTION
The device has a memory function which memorises the last trim height selected.
Next time you use the device, the combs will rise automatically to the height of the trim selected
last time you used it.
LOCK FUNCTION
The device has a ‘Lock’ function which prevents the device from switching on and activating the
buttons accidentally: when you are travelling, for example.
• To activate the ‘Lock’ function
1. Press and hold the sunken button (Fig. 11):
- The 3 combs gradually rise
- The device head is unclipped and falls again, taking the combs with it (Fig. 12)
- The screen displays a countdown from 3 to 1 and the ‘Lock’ signal flashes before
going out (Fig. 13).
N.B.: The operation may take about 10 seconds.
2. Release the button when the ‘Lock’ signal stops flashing.
- The ‘Lock’ function is activated.
• To deactivate the ‘Lock’ function
1. Press and hold the sunken button, until the screen displays a countdown from 3 to 1, the
‘Lock’ signal is flashing and the motor switches on (Fig. 14).
2. Then release the button.
- The ‘Lock’ function is deactivated. You may use the device again.
