Connecting the needle-presser module and upper shaft
1. Face the unit shaft D cut

and the upper shaft D cut

forward.
2. Screw the 2 screws

into the fixed joint

*Key point
• Adjust the gap on the left side of the fixed joint 3 to 0.5 mm.
• Align the screw holes for
the screw

with the D cuts
1
and
2 .
3. Rotate the upper shaft half a turn, and tighten the 2 screws

in the 2
screw holes on the fixed joint
3
.
*Key point
• Tighten the screws
2
in the following order:
2
-2 and then
2
-1.
• Be sure to tighten the 2 screws 2 after fully tightening the 2
screws

on the fixed joint.
4. Tap the lower shaft bushing
5
on lightly so that the upper shaft
4
turns
easily.

Tension pulley assembly attachment
1. Hand start the screw the screw

and attach to the
arm bed (fully tighten after 4 - 6 "Timing belt tension adjustment.").
