Congratulations on the purchase of a new foot rail for your Babboe Slim Mountain! Below you
will find instructions on how to install the foot rail.
Tools required:
• Tape measure
• (Wood) drill, 6.5 drill bit
• (Cross-head) Screwdriver
• Pencil
• Enclosed bag (containing 4 screws, 8 flat washers)
Installation:
To mount the foot rails, you use the two predrilled holes in
the wood at the front of the bike (see red circle image). You
also need to drill 2 additional holes on each side.
1. Remove the screws and washers from the existing holes
in the wood at the handlebar-side of the bike.
2. Use the pencil to mark where the other holes need to be.
The new holes have to be 2 cm from the side and 22 cm
from the predrilled holes, measured from the centre of
the existing hole.
3. Carefully drill the holes where you put the marks. First
mount a foot rail on one side of the bike. Put a washer on
the screw and then put the screw through the new hole
from underneath. Put another washer on the screw from
the top and then the foot rail (see image).
4. Fasten the screws and washers with the screwdriver.
5. Repeat this on the other side of the bike.
