Do NOT attach any equipment such as ropes, swings, etc. not specifically designed for the Slackers 

Adventure Tree House. Weight of any kind should never be applied to the outside of the tree house frame.
• If worn or damaged parts are found, contact b4Adventure for replacement parts - Do not substitute with other, 

non-b4Adventure parts or failure resulting in injury could result.

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR TREE HOUSE

• Take down or cover with our Tree House Cover (sold seperately) when not in use for long periods of time, this 

will help prevent UV damage and weathering of materials, as well as unsupervised usage.

At the beginning of each play season:

• Tighten all hardware - check all connections for any hint of looseness, damage, deterioration, excess wear, rope 

fraying, breaks or sharp edges and replace as necessary.

• Lubricate all metallic moving parts per manufacturer’s instructions.

• Check all protective coverings on bolts, pipes, edges, and corners. Replace if they are loose, cracked, or 

missing.

• Check all moving parts including swing seats, ropes, cables, and chains for wear, rust, or other deterioration. 

Replace as needed.

• Check metal parts for rust. If found, sand and repaint using a nonlead-based paint meeting the requirements of 

16 CFR 1303.

• Reinstall any plastic parts, such as swing seats or any other items that were removed for the cold season.

• Use only b4Adventure replacement parts

Once a month during play season:

• Lubricate all metallic moving parts per manufacturer’s instructions.

• Tighten all hardware - check all protective coverings on bolts, pipes, edges, and corners. Replace if they are 

loose, cracked, or missing.

• Check all moving parts: including all grips for wear, rust, or other deterioration. Replace as needed.

• Perform the Load Stress test.

• If using a step ladder or other platform, inspect it every month for looseness, stability & wear.

Twice a month during play season:

• Tighten all hardware - Check all protective coverings on bolts, pipes, edges, and corners. Replace if they are 

loose, cracked, or missing.

• Rake and check depth of loose fill protective surfacing materials to prevent compaction and to maintain

appropriate depth. Replace as necessary.

At the end of each play season or when the temperature drops below 32° F (0° C): 

• Inspect all parts for wear/damage. Replace as needed before next season of use.

• Take down your entire Tree House setup and store indoors.
