30. Control-form lowered floor
General:

Check the conversion for correct assembly and visible damage. Pay particular attention to the
cables and wires.
❑
Check if the cutting edges are threaded correctly.
❑
Check if everything is correctly mounted with adhesive. Pay particular attention to the blind rivets.
❑
Push the tailgate several times in the lock and check if the tailgate is properly aligned with the
bodywork.
❑
Check if there are no holes in the seams from the tailgate.
❑
Check if the lock works properly.
❑
Check if the tailgate closes properly and also fits well with the second lock.
❑
Take the vehicle for a test run and check the entire system for noise and rattling.
❑
Check if the bumper fits properly between the outside bumper parts.
❑
Check that all grindings have been removed.
❑
Check that everything has been properly finished.
Lowered floor:
❑
Check if the bolts and nuts from the springs are tightened on torque. Check if the thread from the
bolts comes wide enough trough the locknuts. Minimal 1,5 convolution.
❑
Check along the length of the cables and brake cables. Make sure that cables are not mounted
under strain and that there is no possibility of them being cut through as a result of vibrations and/or
vehicle movements.
❑
Check that the handbrake works properly.
❑
Check that the underside has been treated with body protection spray and is well waxed.
Operation of ramp panel:
❑
Release the tensioning handle and check that it does not catch anywhere and that the panel is firmly
secured.
❑
Move the ramp panel up and down to check that it does not catch anywhere and moves smoothly.
