20. Installing VB spring and shock absorber
Before installing the shock absorbers it might be necessary to de-aerate the shock absorbers.
The shock absorbers need to be de-aerated if they have a inconsistent resistance over the entire
length while extending.
De-aerating the shock absorbers is done in 2 steps that need to be repeated until the shock
absorber doesn’t show any more signs of having air in it.
1) Putting the shock topside up between your legs and pulling it out entirely (keeping it still
together).
2) Turning the shock upside down and compressing it entirely.
