Switch appliance on

Switch on the appliance using the rotary switch and set the required temperature level.
● The green indicator lamp lights up.
● The yellow indicator lamp lights up while the appliance is heating up.
● Setting range: Low number = low temperature, high number = high temperature,

Application instructions
● For optimum energy transmission, only use cookware with level and thick base.
● Do not place cookware or bakeware on a dirty hotplate!
● Remove dirt, salt, seasoning, water and food remains from the hotplate immediately.
● Place dry cookware on the hotplate. Do not place any wet, steaming saucepan lids on the hot
plate.
● Do not reduce the heat-retaining temperature by moving the pot, but use the rotary switch.
● Cover pots or pans with a lid.

Completion of operation

Turn rotary switch to the 0 position.
● The indicator lights go out.

Switch off the electric main switch upstream of the appliance, or disconnect the mains plug.
