4.15. Therapy table
The Triton wheelchair can be equipped with a therapy tray (Fig. 32).
•
Loosen the knob screws on the therapy tray.
•
Position the mounting rails at the maximum width.
•
Place the therapy tray on the arm pads and push the bracket against
the armrest to the right and to the left.
•
Secure the therapy tray by tightly screwing on the knob screws
(Fig. 33).
•
The height of the tray can be adjusted. To do this, please consult the
instructions on adjusting the height of the side panels.
•
You can adjust horizontally in the same way as when you move the
arm pad.
4.16. Lap belt (optional)
There is also an optional lap belt available; it secures wheelchair users
who do not have the stability required for sitting in a wheelchair
(Fig. 34).
•
The Triton wheelchair can be equipped with a seat belt for the
pelvis.
•
Use the buckle to open and close the belt.
•
The length of the belt can be adjusted using the movable latch on
the belt.
5. Use
5.1. Entering and leaving from the
side
•
Move the wheelchair as close as possible to the present or future
seat so they are side by side.
•
If you wish to move from another wheelchair or room chair, lock it
by setting the parking brakes.
•
Secure the Triton against rolling away accidentally by activating the
parking brake.
•
Pivot the armrest backwards and away, or remove the side part with
the armrest.
•
Fold the foot plates/footrest to the side or remove the leg rests.
•
Now slide sideways onto the other seat.
•
Make sure that you are sitting as far back in the seat as possible.
•
Finally, return the leg rest to their original position.
Never stand on the footrest!

5.2. Entering and leaving from the
front
•
First fold the foot plates up or remove the leg rests.
•
Move the Triton and the current or intended seat together front to
front if possible and decelerate the Triton
•
If you wish to move from another wheelchair or room chair, lock it
by setting the parking brakes.
•
Now slide onto the seat by turning your body around.
•
Then move the arm rest and leg rests to the original position.
