5. Basic adjustments
Before using the scooter for the first time, it is necessary to adjust the
scooter according to your height. This is essential to ensure that your
posture is physiologically correct for driving for extended periods of time
without excessive fatigue. The basic adjustments of the scooter are de-
scribed below. You should carry out these adjustments with the help of
your medical supply dealer.
5.4.1. Steering column
Adjusting the steering column of your scooter enables you to set the
driving position so that it is comfortable. You can make the adjustment
while seated in the driver‘s seat.
•
Hold the handlebar with one hand and activate the adjusting lever
with the other hand (Fig. 04).
•
Move the steering column into the required position and release the
lever.
5.4.2. Seat
The seat height can be adjusted and the seat can also be moved forwards
and backwards as well as rotated to the side.
Rotating the seat
•
Push down the lever (located on the right underneath the seat sur-
face, Fig. 5). The seat can now be rotated in both directions.
•
There is a fixed lock-in position for the seat every 45°.
•
Release the lever and make sure that the seat is locked in position
again.

Moving the seat
•
Pull the lever (on the right below the seat surface, Fig. 06) towards
you. The seat can now be moved forwards and backwards.
•
You can now adjust the seat to the required position.
•
Release the lever and ensure that the seat is locked in one of the clos-
est fixed positions.
Seat height
•
You will firstly need to remove the seat.
•
Fold the back rest onto the seat by holding the back rest with your
right hand and using your left hand to lift up the lever on the left
next to the seat surface (Fig. 09). The back rest will then fold forwards
automatically.
•
Pull the lever upwards and simply remove the seat by pulling it
upwards (Fig. 6/7).
•
Undo the screw connection (Fig. 8) and position the seatpost in the
required position inside the tube guide.
•
Then securely tighten the screw connection again (Fig. 8) in the next
hole.
•
Now place the seat back onto the mounting.
•
Make sure that it is locked in position again.
5.4.3. Backrest
The angle of the back rest on your scooter can be adjusted forwards
and backwards.. You also have the possibilty to limit the adjustment
range backwards.
Adjusting the angle
•
Pull the lever (on the left on the seat, Fig. 09) upwards. The back now
pushes forwards.
•
Push the back rest into the required position.
•
Release the lever and make sure that the back rest is locked in posi-
tion again.
