Once you have installed the mainboard you still need to setup the BIOS before you can run
your PC. The EEPROM on the mainboard stores the AWARD BIOS CMOS Setup Utility, which
allows you to configure your system. When you want to configure or make any changes to
the configuration of your system BIOS you must run the BIOS CMOS Setup Utility.

Every time you start your computer, the system provides you with an opportunity to run the
BIOS CMOS Setup Utility. As soon as you turn on your system, press the <Delete> button to
activate the BIOS CMOS Setup Utility.
If your computer finishes the POST (Power-On-Self-Test) the BIOS CMOS Setup Utility will
not be
activated. If your computer completes the POST you need to restart the system to
activate the BIOS CMOS Setup Utility. To restart the system, you can either turn the power
off, press the reset button on your chassis or press the <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <Delete> button.
In all three cases the system will restart and, to activate the BIOS CMOS Setup Utility, you
must immediately press the <Delete> button.
Once you have called up the BIOS CMOS Setup Utility, the following screen will appear:
