SAFETY RULES FOR LASER LIGHTS
Attention: Laser radiation
Do not stare into the beam
Class 2 laser
Laser specication according to EN 60825-1:2014
NEVER LOOK INTO THE LASER BEAM.
Any contact with the eyes by the beam could cause injury. Do not use the laser
when cutting reective materials.
DO NOT AIM THE LASER BEAM AT ANYONE OR AT REFLECTIVE SURFACES.
Ensure the laser beam is turned on only when the tool is on a non-reective work-
piece and as such it is aimed only at the work surface. Metals and other materials
like steel which can be highly reective should only be cut without the use of the
laser.
STORE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Equipment should be in a high location or locked up to keep out of reach of
children. It is not a toy.
DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE LASER OUTPUT.
Changing the performance of the laser to increase its output is prohibited. Any
claim for damages or injuries resulting from not following these instructions will
be refused. When tted with laser, no exchange with dierent type of laser is per-
mitted. Repairs shall only be carried out by the laser manufacturer or an autho-
rized agent. The laser light/laser radiation used in the MULTI PURPOSE PLUNGE
SAW is Class 2 with maximum 1mW and 650nm wavelengths. These lasers do not
normally present an optical hazard, although staring at the beam may cause ash
blindness.
