The disc continues to spin for a few seconds after you have released
the switch. Check that your hands are always at a distance from the
rotating disc.
b. Cutting metal
WARNING

Never use a grinding disc for cutting.
To cut metal, always use the guard designed for cutting.
WARNING

Never press the spindle locking button while the disc is rotating.
• While cutting, move the tool forward without forcing it, depending on the material
you are cutting.
• Don’t apply pressure to the cutting disc.
• Don’t tilt the tool or move it from side to side.
• Do not reduce the cutting disc speed when it’s been turned off by applying lateral
pressure.
• The tool must always work in an abrasive movement directed upwards. Otherwise,
it risks being propelled in an uncontrolled manner away from the cutting line.
• When cutting bars with square sections or profiles, it’s preferable to start with the
straightest part.
